The Defence Targeting Enterprise Office (DTEO) is now developing a number of part-time Reserve positions and seeks expressions of interest from SQEP ex-Regular and Reservist personnel across the following areas of delivery:
Subject to formal establishment, Joint Boarding process and sS Policies, vacancies may arise across the rank range OR6-OF4 to serve as Targeting Specialists at the DTEO on ADC/VeRR/PTVR/VTOD Terms and Conditions of Service (TCoS), with an initial proposed start date of 1 Jan 26.
Depending on the role and SQEP, 60-180 RSDs per year are available for the right candidates to conduct these roles.
Unit Function:
The Integrated Warfare Centre (IWC) mission is to provide focused and responsive support for MOD and NATO Joint Commanders against ‘now’ and ’next’ operational priorities and opportunities. It drives more coherent, informed and efficient optimisation and adaptation of the Whole Force through close engagement with the domain Warfare Centres.
The Defence Targeting Enterprise Office supports the Targeting Program of Record (PoR)and sits at the heart of the Integrated Warfare Centre (UKStratCom).
Position Role:
The Strategic Defence Review has articulated that Targeting and C2 are priorities for Defence. The Targeting PoR has been directed to coordinate the development and delivery of Targeting as a capabilty, including specialist support to enablement of the Digital Targeting Web (DTW).
Whilst the main body of the DTEO is located in Northwood HQ, Greater London, there is scope for the right candidates to work out of other locations including Wyton, Andover, Upavon, High Wycombe and Portsmouth.

T&S: The successful applicant is authorised to claim travel and subsistence (T&S) and to have access to service accommodation, for assigned exercises and associated meetings when remote conferencing is not practicable; dependent on agreed committed TaCoS.
Employment on Part Time TaCoS (PTVR/ADC/VeRR/ARRG/VToD): The successful applicant will be subject to the TaCoS they will be employed on / authorised.
Pension Issues: Personnel who qualify for a service pension should take financial advice from Defence Business Services (DBS) Pensions Department on the effect that undertaking reserve service has on their pension (details can be found on the JPA splash screen). Transition between TaCoS: Personnel taking this appointment from other TaCoS should consider the impact on any accrued entitlements, such as leave, resettlement etc and should seek specialist guidance where required as certain entitlements are TaCoS specific and may not be retained or transferred on transition between TaCoS.
Annual Salary and Leave: Pay will be in accordance with the pay scales published in sS polcies . Leave entitlement, if applicable, is detailed in JSP 760.
